This week the Bees and Butterflies have continued to read ‘The Gigantic Turnip’ by Aleksei Tolstoy. In Literacy, we wrote descriptive sentences. In Maths we have been learning about weight, exploring balance scales and using language such as ‘heavy’ and ‘light’. The children have also enjoyed creative activities of painting cats and using oil pastels to recreate Steven Brown’s highland cow artwork.
