This week the Bees and Butterflies have been reading ‘The Gigantic Turnip’ by Aleksei Tolstoy. In Literacy, we wrote a list of all the characters in the story and we went on a punctuation hunt! We had to look for and colour all the capital letters, finger spaces, and full stops in a text. In Maths, we have been learning about capacity and recognising full, half –full, and empty. The children have also enjoyed moulding clay into a turnip.
