Simple Circuits and Money!

This week in year 3, the children have been making simple circuits. They have thought about what happens when there is a gap in the circuit and why it is important for the connection to be closed. In maths, we have been recognising coins and notes and understanding how to use money.

Wire sculptures!

This week, the children have been making their wire sculptures in art. The children thought of some brilliant designs after looking at the work of other wire artists like Ruth Asawa and Jaume Plensa. The children have been really determined to achieve their end goal even though it was difficult at times.
