Spring 2, Week 3 – Battle of Britain

Year 6 have been finding out about the Battle of Britain this week. We have looked at how this was a turning point during the war and the impact it had on the outcome. The children enjoyed learning how this helped Britain be successful and victorious over Germany.

Spring 2, Week 2 – World Book Day!

Year 6 have enjoyed writing their own version of our World Book Day story, Journey. Using their inference skills, they have written the words to the book and included the emotion that their character shows throughout the story. The children came dressed in wonderful costumes too!
