Year 6 have started writing a setting description of a WW2 scene. To ensure we are successful with this piece of writing, we looked at an example to identify the features that are in this genre of writing. From the example, we could see expanded noun phrases, similes and metaphors and the use of senses to describe what is seen, heard and smelt.
