We have had a lovely first week back in Year 5 where we have introduced the children to our new topic WWI. We have started a new book, ‘Private Peaceful’ which the children are already enjoying and we have had our WWI experience day. The children had the opportunity to try on the different military uniforms from the war and they used VR headsets to watch 3D clips and be transported back to 1914. It’s been a fantastic first week back!
