In reception this week, we explored the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’. In Literacy, the Bees and Butterflies have begun to write short sentences using our phonics knowledge. In Maths, we have explored finding 1 less using counters, cubes and number lines. Outdoors they enjoyed mixing flour and practicing our gross motor skills by balancing on 1 leg and holding the plank position for 5 seconds! We have also began to create collage gingerbread men.
