This week the Bees and Butterflies have been reading ‘Blue Penguin’. In Literacy, the children have been writing sentences describing penguins and Antarctica. In maths, the children have been subitising numbers to 10. They liked playing snakes and ladders subitising the dots on the dice. The children have also enjoyed cutting out and sticking shapes to make penguins. On the creative table the children experimented with oil pastels and charcoal to create penguins.
