This week the Bees and Butterflies have continued to read ‘The Hundred Decker Bus’ by Mike Smith. In Literacy, we wrote descriptive sentences about different scenes in the book. In Maths, we have been learning about doubling and recalling double facts. The children have also enjoyed being creative painting planes, making Father’s Day cards, and Eid lanterns. We have also tried hard to fold our own paper aeroplanes. The children have enjoyed learning about Sir Frank Whittle and his invention of the jet engine.
