This week in literacy the Bees and Butterflies have continued to read the book ’Pumpkin Soup’.
In literacy, we discussed the sequence of the story from beginning, middle, to end and also explored different vocabulary we could use to describe the characters. In maths, we have been looking at 2D shapes and how to identify them based on their properties. The Bees and Butterflies have enjoyed doing observational drawings of pumpkins and sponge painting around leaves in different autumnal colours.
