Year 6 had an exciting start to the Spring Term with a visit from Hands On Science. The children were shown an ox’s heart and looked at the different parts. Then, they looked at a lamb’s heart in a group and independently found the ventricles, the valve and the heartstrings. We discovered the importance of our hearts and how we can keep them healthy to keep them beating for a long time!
