Spring 1, Week 2 – The Digestive System.
This week Year 6 have been recapping their learning from year 4 about the digestive system. The children recapped the parts of the digestive system they already knew, and then learnt about new parts such as the liver and pancreas. We discussed how water and nutrients are transported around the body. Well done year 6!

Year 6 had an exciting start to the Spring Term with a visit from Hands On Science. The children were shown an ox’s heart and looked at the different parts.
