This week, the Bees and Butterflies have enjoyed reading the book ‘So Much’. We discussed the different characters, looked at photos and talked about our own families and even had a go at acting out the story. In maths we have been focusing on counting objects carefully. We have also introduced subitising to 5. The children enjoyed rolling the dice and subitising the number they rolled. Additionally, the children were introduced to phonics this week we looked at letters m, a, s, d, t. On the creative table the Bees and Butterflies have enjoyed drawing their families and making self-portraits collages.
