In science this week, year 1 have been learning how to plant and care for seeds. The children went to Oakley Woods where we looked at deciduous and evergreen trees. We also saw lots of other exciting woodland treasures such as the common flowering plants campion and bluebells. We saw lots of birds including a crow, a blackbird, robins, blue tits, a mistle thrush, a coal tit and wood pigeons. We even saw signs of wildlife including muntjac deer footprints.
