This week in Year 5, the children have began learning about Alaa Awad. They have create some amazing pieces of work on who he is and his art work. They will continue to use this to inspire their own. Great work!

6th October – This week in year 6 we are learning about.
Autumn 1, Week 5 – Inuit Art
Year 6 have been looking at Inuit artists this week. We studied some famous Inuit artists such as Jessie Oonark and Pitseolak Ashoona. We discussed their styles of art and what inspires them. Through research, we found that both of these artists are proud Inuits and their culture is portrayed throughout their art.
