This week in year 1 the children have been learning all about Sir Francis Beaufort and how his scientific work changed the world. The children then measured the wind using his scale and other devices. In maths we have been learning about more and less and in English we have been rewriting the story of Chicken Licken with a range of adjectives in to improve it.
