In reception this week, the children explored the festival Diwali with the story of Rama and Sita. They had a Diwali dance and made their own diva lamps. The children also went to visit the Play Village. They were able to pretend to work in a cafe, a post office, a fire station as well as many more places. They thoroughly enjoyed pretending, sharing and communicating with each other.
