This week the Bees and Butterflies have been continuing to read ‘Blue Penguin’ by Petr Horacek. The children have been writing sentences describing animals that live in Antarctica. They have also been comparing features of England and Antarctica. In maths, the children have been finding patterns in numbers and halving quantities. Reception have been making penguin models and using scissors to carefully cut out the features of a penguin.
