In reception this week, we have explored the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’. In Literacy, the Bees and Butterflies have began to write short sentences using our phonics knowledge. In Maths we have explored finding 1 less using counters, cubes and number lines. Outdoors they enjoyed mixing flour and practicing our gross motor skills by balancing on 1 leg and holding the plank position for 5 seconds! We have also began to create a sturdy Gingerbread Man using cardboard roll.
