In reception this week, we have read the story ‘Peep Inside the Castle’. This is a non-fiction book which shows different features of a castle. In literacy, the children have been writing sentences describing castles e.g. “It is a moat. It is deep.” In maths this week, the children have been working hard to add. They enjoyed completing addition worksheets using counters to support them. The children have enjoyed creating self-portrait painting which they then added shiny crowns on to turn themselves into kings and queens. Outside the children have been practicing their coordination by throwing bean bags into hoops.
