This week, the Bees and Butterflies have continued to read the traditional tale ‘The Gigantic Turnip’ by Aleksei Tolstoy. In Literacy we have been writing sentences and ordering the story. In maths we explored money and the different coins we use. We also practiced our number bonds to 10. The children enjoyed getting creative this week! They used forks to print black paint and then glued on features to create a cat. We learnt about an artist called Steven Brown and had a go at recreating his ‘McCoo’ paintings of highland cows.
