This week the Bees and Butterflies have been reading ‘Monkey Puzzle’ by Julia Donaldson. In Literacy we described characters from the book, wrote facts about the rainforest and made a list of things we would need if we were to visit the rainforest. In Maths we have been learning about time, the children enjoyed ordering the events of day and using language of time. The Bees and Butterflies also identified the minute and hour hands on a clock and read “o’clock” times. We have also been very creative and used forks to print paint and make flowers.
