This week the Bees and Butterflies have been reading ‘Monkey Puzzle’ by Julia Donaldson, a story about a lost monkey in the rainforest. The children have been writing sentences describing different animals from the story. In maths, the children have been exploring ‘more’ and ‘less’ they have been comparing different groups of objects. The children enjoyed painting butterflies and creating rainforest collages. Reception have also had the amazing experience of watching eggs hatch this week. The children will be practicing this terms value of ‘Care’ to look after the chicks.
