This week the Bees and Butterflies have been reading ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. In Literacy, we wrote sentences about the caterpillar and the cocoon. In Maths, we have been learning about subtraction and the different methods we can use to work out subtraction questions (number line, counters and part-part-whole). The children have enjoyed ordering the life cycle of a butterfly. We have also been very creative making finger-paint caterpillars.
