In art year 1 have learnt how to apply paint in different ways to create different effects. We started by selecting or mixing the appropriate colour, the lightest first. We then practised a range of different ways of applying paints.
We used dry brushing, stippling with a sponge and stippling with paper/scrunch painting. We then selected the most appropriate way to use the equipment and paint to give the desired finish to our planet.
