In maths this week, year 3 have been adding and subtracting 3-digit and 2-digit numbers. The children have worked really hard by ensuring they correctly use the column addition to show their working out.
In English, the children have been looking at examples of a non-chronological report. They have started to plan their own about life in Ancient Greece. They have researched about school, home, clothing, and entertainment in relation to the ancient Greeks.
In topic, the children added triangular reinforcements to their catapults and evaluated their product. The children were great at discussing why their product was successful and how they could improve. Well done year 3!
