Geography- Ordnance Survey Maps

This week in Year 4, the children worked very hard with their map skills. They studied and learned how to use ordnance survey maps and find specific sites and write down their 4-point references. Children focused on important Anglo-Saxon sites (with a focus on a mythical King Arthur) and used the ordnance survey maps to find this and aid both their geographical and historical knowledge!

The children worked very hard to find different Geographical features which were linked to our topic, Traders and Raiders!
The children found this super exciting because in the Owls, the children competed to see who could get all of the correct 4-point references!
