This week in year one we have been planning to rewrite the story ‘There’s a Lion in my Cornflakes’ using our own animal characters. We have created our very own story map to help us plan our writing. In maths this week we have been describing position, direction, and movement. This has included learning whole, half, quarter, and three-quarter turns! In art this week we have been artists and have been creating collages based on artist Henri Rousseau’s work, the artist we studied last week. Finally, we looked closely at different animals and made our very own 3D models using clay.
