This week, in maths the Bees and Butterflies have revisited addition and practised adding two numbers together using a part, part, whole model, a Rekenrek and a number line. The children have been enjoying the story Handa’s Surprise where we have been continuing to write sentences using capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. The children have been busy creating African sunset pictures exploring different materials to paint with. They have also been identifying similarities and differences between where they live and Kenya.
