In maths this week year 1 have been continuing to learn about subtraction. We have been learning to take away using a ten frame and a number line. We have started our topic of Splendid Skies and have begun to talk about the differences in weather as the seasons change. To help us notice the differences we have looked at the artist Robin Brookes. Noticing the differences with tree as the seasons change and creating a collages. In English we have been looking at the story Chicken Licken. We have been retelling the story using puppets and using our story maps to help us.
