Year 5 have been looking at persuasive texts this week. At the beginning of the week, we were identifying the features of persuasive writing. Then, we used these features to help us have a debate with our partner about King Henry VIII getting a divorce. We used persuasive expressions such as ‘I strongly believe, I disagree because and as a result’.
