In maths year 1 have been learning to add within 20 by counting on. The children have been using tens frames and number lines to help them. In art we have been learning about artists Karen Rose and Wassily Kandinsky. The children used paint and different techniques such as dripping, dry brushing, and flickering to create their very own space-inspired painting.
