This week in Year 6, the children have been doing lots of Geography! As our topic is Darwin’s Delights, we have been studying Charles Darwin and his expedition to the Galapagos Islands. Therefore, as a task this week, the children have been planning their own expedition to the Galapagos Islands by using Digimaps to plot and plan each island they will visit. Moreover, the children then did further research to explain their rationale behind choosing each of their islands; they may have chosen a specific island as it had active volcanoes!
