This week the Bees and Butterflies have been reading the story ‘Can’t you Sleep Little Bear?’. We read the story in a “dark cave” with lanterns. The children have been writing CVC words and finding the initial sounds in words. In maths, reception have been learning all about ‘1 more’ the children found ‘1 more’ using cubes and on the number line. In the creative area, the Bees and Butterflies have enjoyed making light and dark firework pictures.
