This week in Year Six, the children have been taking part in some soap carving which was inspired by Inuit artists such as: Jessie Oonark, David Ruben Piqtokun and Pitseolak Ashoona. The children used their designs that they created last week to carefully carve onto their soap using special carving tools and all of the appropriate safety equipment. They had lots of fun doing this and didn’t want the Art lesson to end!
