WB 25.09.23

This week in literacy the Bees and Butterflies have been reading the story ‘The Biggest Bed in the World’. The children have been thinking about ‘what could happen next’ in the story and the emotions of the characters. In maths, the children have been learning to subitise an amount. The Bees and Butterflies have been busy in the creative area collaging the biggest bed, making stick people and fingerprint duvets. The children have been practicing their fine motor skills by using tweezers. Outside the children have been exploring Autumnal objects, searching for minibeast, ordering number stones, balancing on scooters and tracing counters over letters.
