Little Red Riding Hood and Woodland Flora and Forna

This week in English we have been retelling a familiar story – Little Red Riding Hood.  First, the children ordered the story and then matched key phrases.  We then practised speaking in full sentences and in lots of detail to make our storytelling engaging.

In maths this week we have been learning about equal and unequal groups.  We have also been learning how to make arrays using rows and columns.

In science we have been naming common woodland animals and trees that we will likely see on our trip next week to Oakley Woods.
