What we have been doing this week
This week Reception have enjoyed reading ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle. In maths we have began to add two numbers together using our fingers, a tens frame, and a number line. We also have our own caterpillars and chicks in school and the children have explored the life cycle of both!

Flora and Fauna
This week in year 1, we have been exploring flowers and plants in science. We were able to dissect flowers to examine and identify the different parts of the flower! In maths, we have been exploring division and sharing between groups!
