This week in reception we have been learning to follow the classroom rules. We have been listening to our story ‘So Much’ and talking about ourselves. We have been exploring new vocabulary and recalling events in order. We have also been creating our faces using different shapes using natural materials.

Settling into Reception
The children had a great start to Reception this week. They enjoyed exploring the classroom and the outdoor area. The children matched colours, hand painted, manipulated play dough, and practised writing their names. Well done everyone!

This week in Year 5, the children had an exciting visitor Mr Egypt. They learnt to use hieroglyphics to decode a message and write a their name, the Egyptian numerical system to work out some problems and worked together to wrap someone as mummies.
