This week in Year 4 the Explorer Dome came to the school to deliver the digestion workshop!The children got to see the digestive process of food when it enters the mouth and goes through the body, they also enjoyed entering the dome and were all beautifully behaved. Well done Year 4!

This week Year 4 carried out an EGGperiment to show what happens to our teeth when we use toothpaste and when we don’t. The eggs were left in vinegar and we observed what happened to the shell (which represented enamel on our teeth).

This week Year 4 carried out an experiment on the digestive system! We used a variety of objects to represent different organs and observed how food travels through our body.We did an example of a healthy diet and another of an unhealthy diet.
