Geography, subtraction and Chicken Licken
This week the Dragonflies and Dolphins have been learning how to subtract on a numberline and have been trying to complete balanced equations in maths. In topic they have been learning all about human and physical geography. In English they have written their very own version of Chicken Licken.

Autumn 2, Week 2 – All about the Moon!
Year 5 have been very creative this week, creating research posters about the importance of the moon. We found that the moon is only lit up at night because it is reflecting the light from the sun. We also discovered why the moon is a different shape every night – these are called moon phases!
