Year 1 enjoyed their trip to All Things Wild! They handled real dinosaur artefacts including a horn, a skull and a fossilised dinosaur poo! They also held some animals including a guinea-pig, a armadillo and a chicken. They children loved visiting the giant dinosaur experience! We pretended that they were real!

Year 1 have been ordering the days of the week. Some children have also learned to spell them, and challenged themselves to start the sequence from a midweek day.

Year 1 have been learning to program! They used the Daisy the Dinosaur app. You could download it and try it at home!

Year 1 have thoroughly enjoyed taking library books out! Lots of children chose familiar stories, and some chose some new, tricker books! It has been lovely to hear that you have been enjoying your new books at home with your friends and family!

We have been learning to put numbers 1 to 10 in order!
